Southern Cross Vans began operating also in Adelaide in 1999. Since then the company has produced hundreds of vehicles consisting of Rigid Bodies, Semi-Trailers, Dry Freight, Chiller and Freezer configurations.

In December 2004, Southern Cross Vans opened its Victorian sales and production facility in Dandenong South. The expansion into Victoria reflects the positive trends within the Van division, to supply equipment to all parts of the nation, in particular the eastern states.

On the 7th September 2009, nearly 5 years after opening in Victoria back in late 2004, Southern Cross Vans has moved into a purpose built state of the art manufacturing facility, also located in Dandenong South, which will host a vast new three line production with dedicated assembly jig / finishing areas per line. The fiberglass panel area also sees a vast improvement with the addition of two moulds / tables. The new facility is separated with dedicated panel manufacturing and Van assembly but still under the same roof of approx. 4200sqm.

We aim that this investment within the refrigerated transport industry, highlights Southern Cross Vans commitment to continue to improve quality, design, efficiency, delivery, and quantity to support the industry long term.

Southern Cross Vans now offer sales and manufacturing services in South Australia and Victoria, a sales office in Queensland, as well as a sales and service dealer network across all states.

The business provides transport solutions ranging from Refrigerated (-28ºC) through to Chiller and Dry Bulk Freight units for a number of industry sectors, including local and interstate distribution.
